Featured City — Philadelphia
All the schools in the city of Philadelphia have access to the content. Many are using it in various ways across the grades and the curriculum as they tackle issues such as flu prevention, nutrition, fitness, tobacco, and workplace preparedness issues.
Implementation
The Student Health Force program was selected by the Philadelphia Academies as a valuable resource for health and career education. Led by Lisa Nutter and Wendy Sebranek , its staff is becoming Master Trainers and is helping to implement the program. The first schools that they worked with were chosen to be part of the Society of Public Health Educators Annual National Workshop.
