National Hand Washing Awareness Week

The goal of National Hand Washing Awareness Week is to decrease the spread of infectious diseases by empowering individuals to educate and help protect their communities. From more information, visit www.henrythehand.com.

Keeping hands clean is one of the most important ways to prevent the spread of infection and illness.

Join Henry the Hand as a champion hand washer following these four steps to hand awareness:

Small ArrowWash your hands when they are dirty and before eating.

Small ArrowDo not cough into your hands. (Cover your mouth with your forearm.)

Small ArrowDo not sneeze into your hands. (Sneeze into a tissue or, if necessary, your forearm.)

Small ArrowAbove all, do not put your fingers in your eyes, nose or mouth.
