Students

Become a Force for Health

Keitron Williams survived hurricane Katrina, the death of his brother, and was contemplating dropping out of school when he was assigned to be in the pilot group of students for the STEPS to a Healthier New Orleans Internship program (a Student Health Force initiative). Throughout the program he was encouraged to keep a journal of his feelings and experiences.

Excerpts from his journal have been published as a book of poetry titled My Inspired Thoughts. Keitron Learned It! Lived It! and is now Sharing It! in hopes of inspiring others.
